Sunnex, Inc., a leading manufacturer of lighting equipment, introduces the Sunnex Celestial Star™, a unique lamp that can adjust to meet the demands of a variety of medical and surgical applications, including use in emergency and trauma rooms.

Ideal for space-saving and tight quarters, the Sunnex Celestial Star™ is lightweight and features wall, ceiling or dual ceiling mount options to accommodate specific applications. It has a 29” articulating arm, providing head to foot horizontal and vertical coverage, and eliminating the need for costly, maintenance-prone track lighting. When combined with a power chair or table, the Sunnex Celestial Star’s downward reach delivers a horizontal beam, making it easier to view the injury.

The wall mount option, for example, delivers overhead lighting, converting a small room into a “surgical suite,” and folds up to allow access to patients with x-ray or other emergency equipment. It is equipped with filtered IR and UV rays, providing reduced heat and added patient safety.

Additionally, the Sunnex Celestial Star™ lamp head is capable of a 700° rotation, and the arm has the rotation capability of 359° from both horizontal and vertical planes. The Sunnex Celestial Star™ also features a 5” spotlight, an optional 17” reflector pattern, and a balance arm rotation. The lamp comes with 6000-ft. candles and the flexibility to add different bulbs for focused spot lighting.
