Sunnex, Inc., a leading manufacturer of lighting equipment, offers the Sunnex Celestial Star™ medical light, now suitable for use in MRI facilities. Using a unique combination of nylon, stainless steel, and other materials, this enhanced Sunnex Celestial Star is unaffected by magnetism associated with MRI procedures.
Ideal for space-saving and tight quarters, the Sunnex Celestial Star™ is lightweight and features wall, ceiling, or dual ceiling mount options to accommodate various room configurations. It has a 29” (737 mm) articulating arm, providing head to foot horizontal and vertical coverage, and eliminating the need for costly, maintenance-prone track lighting.
The wall mount option, for example, delivers overhead lighting, converting a small room into a “surgical suite,” and folds flat to the wall when not in use. The wall mount model provides an unparalleled 72” (1 829 mm) reach.
Additionally, the Sunnex Celestial Star™ lamp head is capable of a 700° rotation, and the arm offers exceptional rotation capability of 359° from both horizontal and vertical planes. The Sunnex Celestial Star™ also features a 5” (127 mm) spotlight, an optional 17” (432 mm) reflector pattern, and a balance arm rotation. The light illuminates up to 6 000-ft. candles (65 000 Lux).
